Great walk for families. Informative and entertaining even for the little ones. With the app and guesswork - including a short detour to the waterfall - we were on the road for 3.5 hours. The route in the opposite direction and without the stations only took about 30 minutes. Once the puzzle in the app has been completed, the children will have a great surprise waiting for them at the tourist information office, which they pass on the way (recognizable by the "i" sign). ).

Beautiful, small hiking trail that brings you closer to Hafling's most important "cultural asset", the Haflinger horses. Some stations on the way invite you to linger and show the hiker interesting things about the life of horses and life with horses. The path is particularly suitable for families with children as there are some opportunities to play and climb. Unfortunately it's not a circular route, you have to go back except for a ten-minute shortcut. I think it's a shame that there isn't a single waste container along the entire route. That's why there are some "nature lovers" who simply leave their rubbish lying around... We even picked up some along the way and disposed of it in the village.

A really very educational circular hiking trail around Haflingen. The parking space is affordable at three euros per day and the app, which can be downloaded via QR code on the board at the beginning (30MB), was an asset. 12 stations with lots of information and varied radio plays and quiz questions made the tour exciting and entertaining. After the solution and the collected horseshoes, a quick trip to the tourist office and children's hearts began to beat even faster. Made with love and care, absolutely worth it. Some of the quiz questions are quite difficult, but can be solved with a little help from mom and dad. By the way, the tip about the short route to the waterfall was also worth seeing.

Very beautiful and undemanding trail with many points of interest. Very popular with children and suitable for all ages. A 2-hour journey one way, enjoying interesting recreational and educational attractions, arriving at the church of Santa Caterina. The path is dedicated to Foly, the mascot dedicated to Folie, the progenitor of the Avellino horse breed or Haflinger, originally from this country and spread throughout the world. Almost the entire route, excluding the final part, takes place on a pedestrian-only road. Bring water. Very hot route in summer. There is an accompanying app in which there are a few questions to solve for each station in order to solve the puzzle at the end. It wasn't that easy and you have to read through the stations carefully or listen to the spoken content in the app in order to be able to answer the questions. If you make mistakes, points will be deducted 😬If you have solved everything, you can go to the tourist office of the city of Avelengo (located on the way) and pick up a surprise. Another motivator for the children. 😉 really nicely done: there is a personalized certificate and a drinking bottle. My daughter was very proud ☺️ Note/small improvement: The app is of course very contemporary. Certainly essential for teenage kids 😉 Nevertheless, I found it a bit of a shame that you always had to walk around in the beautiful setting with your cell phone in your hand and listen to questions, etc. An analogue version would certainly have been enough. At least for smaller children. We once did an adventure trail in Austria where you had to solve a question at each station and were given a letter that was part of the solution word. In the end, if you got the correct answer, you got something.
